This OnePlus phone follows the same unified design as the OnePlus 10 Pro, complete with a unibody rear glass cover which augments its looks. The OnePlus 10T 5G comes in two new colours – Moonstone Black and Jade Green – and it also has a special film coating to deliver a ceramic-like premium.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
This is the first OnePlus smartphone to feature the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which promises powerful performance, better battery efficiency, and multitasking abilities on the go. This includes faster, more efficient on-device cross tasking due to the improved Qualcomm Kryo CPU while its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1’s octa-core CPU offers 10 per cent faster CPU performance with a 30 per cent improvement in power efficiency, the company revealed.
The chipset gets another boost by the presence of an up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 two-lane storage, which can suspend more than 35 applications at once offering a faster, smoother user experience minus.
Cooling system
The OnePlus 10T 5G does not heat up like conventional phones, even after delivering high levels of performance for longer time periods, OnePlus revealed. This means that the smartphone can be used for hours of gaming, or watching other content without feeling the heat! It has been designed with a next-generation 3D cooling system which is the largest and most advanced one for a OnePlus device ever. This offers a total cooling area of over 37,000 mm 2 .
It also uses 3D graphite which offers 50 per cent improved heat dissipation over regular graphite – this is also one of the reasons for the OnePlus 10T 5G’s light device form factor.
Gaming engine
The HyperBoost Gaming Engine on this new smartphone powers two features designed to make gaming smoother and more responsive – General Performance Adapter (GPA) Frame Stabilizer and LSTouch. The GPA Frame Stabilizer reduces frame fluctuations when the user is in the middle of a game, ensuring a smoother, more stable gaming.
150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition charging
The smartphone is embedded with a 4,800 mAh dual-cell battery with a 7C rating, which supports the 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition charging feature that powers the phone up to a one day’s power in all of 10 minutes. To fully charge the phone from 1-100 per cent, it takes 19 minutes.
The OnePlus 10T 5G’s 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition charging also offers support to its exclusive Battery Health Engine that powers two technologies which improve the lifespan and preserve the capacity of the phone’s battery – the Smart Battery Algorithm and Battery Healing Technology, the company averred. For the user, this means that it retains at least 80 per cent of its original battery capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles, which equates to nearly four years of usage on an average.
Triple Rear Camera
The rear triple camera system has a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor complete with OIS, which capture minute details even in low light and unevenly lit environments – that too in full 10-bit colour, which is 64 times more colour than smartphones that shoot in 8-bit colour.
This main camera is supported by an 8 MP ultra-wide camera with a 119.9 degree field of view which brings more in every shot and an additional 2 MP macro camera which allows you to get close to the subject with an effective shooting distance of 2-4 cm. The images are further enhanced by Image Clarity Engine, Super HDR and Nightscape 2.0 functions.
