The show kicks off when a kid mysteriously goes missing and his three friends begin a hunt to find him. However, instead of finding him, they come across a girl who has psychic powers like telekinesis, telepathy and dimensional travel. As monsters from the other dimension cause chaos in Hawkins, it is now up to these kids to save everyone they love.
The show stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Natalia Dyer, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery and others and has some spectacular acting performances. The show, after the release of its first season, quickly became the most-watched show on the streaming platform, a record it has maintained after every season. Interestingly, after Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 came out, Netflix temporarily crashed because it could not handle the high traffic.
