PM Kisan Yojana eKYC done? Do it ONLINE by the end of July; check steps here

The last date to do eKYC for the PM Kisan Yojana is nearing. Farmers registered under the scheme need to do their eKYC before July 31, 2022. You can check the steps to do it online here.

Have you registered under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme? If you have registered under the scheme, it is mandatory for you to do eKYC. The last date for making PM Kisan account KYC compliance is July 31, 2022. According to the information provided on the PM Kisan Portal “eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP Based eKYC is available on PM KISAN Portal or nearest CSC centres may be contacted for Biometric based eKYC. Deadline of eKYC for all the PM Kisan Yojana beneficiaries has been extended till 31st July 2022.”

It is advised to get the eKYC done so that you do not have any issues in receiving the PM Kisan 12 installment in your bank accounts. It can be known that the 11th installment of the PM Kisan scheme was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 31, 2022, by fixing an amount of around Rs. 21,000 crore for 10 Crore farmers.

The PM Kisan scheme is a central sector scheme that was started to provide income support to all landholding farmers’ families in the country. An annual financial benefit of Rs. 6,000 is being provided to eligible beneficiary farmer families under the scheme.

The amount is credited directly to the bank account of the farmers in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each, every 4th month. If you have not yet done the PM Kisan eKYC, here are the steps you need to follow. Therefore, in order to be eligible to receive the benefits under the PM Kisan scheme farmers are advised to complete the KYC norms on or before the new deadline. A step-by-step guide on the same has been provided below:

PM Kisan: Here is the process to follow to complete the KYC process online

Step 1:

Go to the official website of PM Kisan or click on the link- http://pmkisan.nic.in/.

Step 2:

Look for the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the homepage and click on ‘eKYC’ mentioned under it.

Step 3:

As you will click on the eKYC option, you will be redirected to the ‘OTP Based Ekyc’ page where you need to enter your Aadhaar number and then click on ‘Search’.

Step 4:

Enter your mobile number which is linked with Aadhaar, once your Aadhaar number is displayed. You will then have to click on ‘Get OTP’.

Step 5:

Enter the OTP in the required field received on your phone and proceed further.

Step 6:

As the OTP is verified and all the details match, the eKYC process will be successfully completed.
