Nothing Phone (1) issues not ending! Buyers now find misaligned components

July 28, 2022 By Fresh News Hub Leave a Comment

Nothing Phone (1) buyers complain about misaligned components on their smartphones. Here is all you need to know.

Problems seem not to be ending for the Nothing Phone (1)! Ever since the phone went on sale, buyers and several critics have complained of quality control issues related to the build quality. Our own unit of the Nothing Phone (1) saw its Glyph light coming out, while others complained of issues with the display. Fresh addition to this list of issues comes from users observing misaligned internal components. Several users have found the cable connecting to the wireless charging coil disformed or faulty.

Some users have also found the LED flash alongside the camera to be misaligned. Then there are issues related to the replacement program on Flipkart. A 91Mobile report states that they wanted to get their faulty unit replaced but Flipkart refused to do so. Nothing hasn’t issued a statement regarding the issue but it seems the initial batch of Phone (1) units seem to have faults.

Nothing Phone (1) build issues still continue

Many are advising to hold on until the first few batches of Nothing Phone (1) are exhausted. The company seems to be struggling with the quality control on its devices and it could be a while before the company could come on top of this.

While these quality issues persist, the Nothing Phone (1) remains one for the more desirable smartphones in the midrange space. The Phone (1) with its unique transparent rear design and a complex arrangement of notification LED lights, called the Glyph interface, stand out from the rest of the crowd. The Glyph interface is essentially a fancy way to check notifications and also allows to have a fill light while taking close-up photos and macros.

Nothing Phone (1) has also impressed us with its smooth performance as well as a neatly appointed user interface. The Phone (1) relies on the midrange Snapdragon 778G+ chip that is both power efficient and capable of hosting most popular apps as well as games with ease. You also get a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera and a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor for the ultra-wide camera. The phone comes with a 4500mAh battery and it supports up to 33W fast wired charging. You also get 15W wireless fast charging.
