Minecraft Live 2022 is just a couple of weeks away, and the most anticipated part of the event is the Minecraft Mob Vote 2022. Players are ready to vote and bring their favorite new mob to the game with Minecraft 1.20 update. But with multiple good options revealed this week, it can be confusing to choose just one. In 2021, Allay won the mob vote and made it into the game with the Minecraft 1.19 update, and some players were not happy about it. Luckily, you have a chance to make a difference this year. So, let’s go over all the options for the latest mob vote and help you choose the best!
Minecraft Mob Vote 2022: New Mobs Revealed (2022)
We are covering all the options for this year’s Minecraft mob vote in separate sections. Use the table below to understand each mob and its core mechanics before making a final choice.
Choose the Next New Minecraft Mob
Sniffer Mob
As per the storyline described in the teaser video, Sniffer is an extinct overworld mob that can be brought back with its rare eggs. Once the sniffer egg hatches, it spawns a baby sniffer which later grows into an adult. Then, the sniffer searches for hidden seeds by sniffing the ground.
Moreover, as confirmed by developers in the blog post, the arrival of the Sniffer might also signal the addition of new and unique plants to the game. You will hate to wait for this new mob to find the rare seeds, which later can be planted to grow new types of plants.
Rascal
Next, seems like the Warden isn’t the only mysterious mob hiding beneath the overworld of Minecraft. If you go beneath the world height of Y=0, you might spot a Rascal (if you choose to vote for it, that is). This neutral mob loves to play hide-and-seek with the players. You get hints to find, and once you spot the Rascal three times, it drops rare items.
As per the teaser, the Rascal will most commonly spawn inside Mineshafts, giving them a much-needed update. In terms of appearance, the Rascal looks like a goblin carrying a backpack. Could it be a way for Minecraft to introduce bundles and backpacks into the game? Only one way to find out.
Tuff Golem
After the sad defeat of Copper Golem in 2021’s mob vote, Minecraft is giving the golem family a second chance at expansion. This time, we have a chance to bring a Tuff Golem to the game. These are passive tiny mobs that usually stay stationary as a statue. Then, when you wake it up, the Tuff Golem randomly walks around and picks up any item you drop.
Similar to an Allay, the Tuff Golem can’t pick more than one item at a time. But, they will also be one of the most highly customizable mobs if you vote for them. Also, depending upon the type of wool you use in their construction, the Tuff Golem spawns wearing a matching cloak. Though, it’s unclear if they will act like a pet or whether they can find their way into some of the best Minecraft farms.
Fresh News Hub Poll: Minecraft Mob Vote 2022
While we can’t suggest which Minecraft mob to vote for, we would love to know your opinion. So, please vote in the following poll and share which mob you want to see in the next Minecraft update.
Note: This is an UNOFFICIAL opinion poll for Fresh News Hub readers. The real voting will officially take place on Minecraft’s website on the 14th of October, 2022. Your vote on our website doesn’t count towards the final votes. Its only purpose is to gauge public opinion about these mobs. So, which one are you going to vote for next week?
Which Minecraft Mob Are You Going to Vote For
Sniffer, Rascal, or Tuff Golem? It’s too hard to choose just one mob to join the world of Minecraft 1.20. Once you make a choice, the other two mobs might never make it into the game. Fortunately, that’s not the fate of Minecraft biomes that reach the live event. The Mangrove swamp biome was a loser in a biome vote but made it into the game with a recent update. So, if you want a similar future for these mobs, you should try exploring some of the best Minecraft mods. Having said that, which mob do you officially want to see in Minecraft with the next update?
