You can check if your Aadhaar number is fake or genuine and that too online by following a few simple steps.
Your Aadhaar Card holds a unique 12 digit number which is required to be provided for every official work. The Aadhaar number is issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and that too free of cost. But, what needs to be noted is that not every Aadhaar number is genuine. You can even check if your Aadhaar number is genuine or not and that too online. All you need to do is visit the official UIDAI website at uidai.gov.in, using the web browser of your choice.
Also, it must be noted that it is important to verify an Aadhaar number in order to know if it is valid and is not deactivated. Also, an Aadhaar number that has been issued to an individual cannot be reassigned to any other person. Every Aadhaar is linked to the person’s biometric and personal details thus making it easy to identify fake identities. If you want to check the validity or authenticity of your or any other person’s Aadhaar number, then you can do so by following the below mentioned steps.
