iQOO 9T launching today in India! From specs to price, all you need to know is here

iQOO 9T is launching in India today as another addition to iQOO’s flagship lineup of smartphones. Here is all you need to know.

iQOO 9T is launching in India today and right away, it is going to claim a big first for India. The iQOO 9T is going to debut the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset in India, thereby making one of the most powerful Android smartphones we know of so far. More than the power, this chip promises better power efficiency and better thermal performance than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. iQOO also has a couple of other changes lined up for the iQOO 9T over the regular iQOO 9 5G.

Before you deep dive, know that iQOO 9T will be launching later today via on online event. This event will be livestreamed on YouTube and iQOO’s social media channels starting 12 PM. The iQOO 9T will go on sale from August 4 at 12 PM. Additionally, a couple of YouTube creators have already revealed the prices for the iQOO 9T, which is set to start at Rs. 49,999. This could make one of the most affordable phones to have this chipset.

iQOO 9T variants and prices

The iQOO 9T will be available in two colours — Alpha and Legend. The base variant will have 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that will cost Rs. 49,999. The other variant will have 12GB RAM and 256GB storage that will cost Rs. 54,999.

Buyers will also get an instant discount of Rs. 4,000 if they make the transaction via ICICI Bank cards. iQOO will also offer an exchange bonus of Rs. 7,000 for an iQOO device and Rs. 5,000 for other brand devices. Customers can also opt for a 12-month no-cost EMI option.

iQOO 9T specs at a glance

The iQOO 9T is said to be based on the iQOO 10 from China. The phone has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip at the helm and you will get a up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also comes with a V1+ chip that promises to improve low light imaging processing.

Other than that, you have a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of 1500 nits. As for cameras, you get a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor for the main cameras, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP portrait camera with 2X zoom. A 4500mAh battery powers the phone and you have a 120W wired charging solution to fill up the battery.
