Google has sent a letter to its employees informing them about the company’s response to the US Supreme Court ruling on abortion. Here is what Google has said.
Recently, the US Supreme Court has effectively overturned the right to a legal abortion established by the Roe v. Wade case in 1973. This decision has sparked outrage among women in the United States. Now, as per the latest information, Google has stepped into the abortion controversy. According to a report by The Verge, Google’s chief people officer Fiona Cicconi sent a staff-wide email to employees informing them of Google’s response to the ruling.
The Google letter highlights that Googlers can “apply for relocation without justification” and that people in charge of the relocation process “will be aware of the situation” in assessing their requests, The Verge said in its report.
