iPhone 14 latest leak suggests the colour variants as well as several other details related to the entire iPhone 14 range. Take a look.
The biggest iPhone 14 leak is finally here and it reveals some of the details that will matter to most consumers. The iPhone 14 generation will have four models at launch, with the iPhone 14 Max replacing the iPhone Mini. So far, we have known that the standard iPhone 14 models will be largely based on the iPhone 13 whereas the iPhone 14 Pro variants will be the real upgrade this year. A tipsters has now revealed further details on these phones and looking at the limited time we have until the launch, this could be very well true.
@Jioriku, a tipster, has shared an entire Twitter thread talking about the crucial details on the iPhone 14 series. Some of his details match with those shared by previous leaks, but he adds on to the finer details. It seems that standard iPhone 14 models will actually offer some upgraded performance over the iPhone 13 generation despite using the same A15 Bionic chipset. iPhone 14 colours
The regular iPhone 14 variants will come in the following colour variants – Green, Purple, Blue, Black, White and Red. The Pink is replaced with the Purple variant.
The iPhone 14 Pro variants will come in the following colour variants – Green, Purple, Silver, Gold, and Graphite. The Purple variant replaces the Sierra Blue colour variant.
iPhone 14 processor
The A16 chip will power the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, and it will be based on the same 5nm process but with the same kind of incremental performance upgrade we have seen every year. No info on the A15 chip for the iPhone 14 standard variants but they are expected to be slightly more powerful than the ones on the iPhone 13.
iPhone 14 Build
Same choice of materials as the iPhone 13 models. Aluminium body on the standard iPhone 14 and Stainless Steel on the iPhone 14 Pro models. The phones are also said to use Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The new punch-hole cutout on the Pro models will look different and Apple has some fun software features to play with. The phones will also be heavier than the iPhone 13 models.
iPhone 14 Battery
The iPhone 14 models are also expected to get support for 30W wired charging, and it is said that the speeds will drop down to 27W in case the phone heats up. The battery capacity is larger and that could increase the weight. The MagSafe magnets will be stronger too but no increase in speeds. Wireless charging coil can do reverse wireless charging but the feature will be released later in its lifecycle.
